Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ClearPlan at clearplanapp.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users of ClearPlan, including free and paid subscribers.

Description of Service

ClearPlan is an educational tool that helps individuals organize and understand their debt situation. ClearPlan provides informational guidance, AI-generated content, and organizational features. ClearPlan does not provide legal advice, financial advice, or professional services of any kind. ClearPlan does not negotiate with creditors on your behalf.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ClearPlan. By using the service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts

Subscription and Billing

ClearPlan offers a free plan and a paid Full Access plan at $5/month.

  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use ClearPlan for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers
  • Use automated tools to access the service without permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the AI Copilot to generate harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent content

AI-Generated Content

ClearPlan uses AI to generate call scripts, email templates, and general guidance. This content is for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for your specific situation. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional before taking significant action.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ClearPlan is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that any information provided through the service is accurate, complete, or up to date.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearPlan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of ClearPlan shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ClearPlan — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by ClearPlan and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the service or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of ClearPlan after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ClearPlan shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
